Christian Kofane ends his goal drought after the Africa Cup of Nations
The Cameroonian international secured victory for Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga on Wednesday.
Christian Kofane had not found the back of the net since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. He had distinguished himself with decisive passes but without scoring a single goal after participating with Cameroon in the continental competition.
But on Wednesday 4 March, in the postponed match of the Matchday 17 of the German Bundesliga, the Cameroonian ended his drought. He scored the only goal in Bayer Leverkusen's victory over Hamburg. Christian Kofane thus scored his fourth goal of the season in the league and his sixth in all competitions, with four assists to boot.
The Cameroonian striker is certainly regaining his offensive effectiveness for the rest of the season.
