Christ Okou on loan from Paris FC
The young centre-forward has joined Clermont Foot on a season-long loan.
Christ Okou will continue his development in France’s Ligue 2. The 20-year-old Franco-Ivorian striker, who played for Paris FC’s reserve team last season, has been loaned to Clermont Foot.
His temporary transfer was officially announced on Thursday 30 July by Clermont Foot and Paris FC. It is a season-long loan for the young striker.
Having come through the ranks at Paris FC, Christ Okou signed his first professional contract with the Parisian club last June. Following the official announcement of his loan move to Clermont Foot, the 20-year-old expressed his enthusiasm.
“I’m very happy to be here at Clermont Foot. I can’t wait to experience Ligue 2 and the professional game. I’m an all-round striker, capable of scoring with both feet as well as with my head. I’m not putting any pressure on myself; I know I can contribute to the team and I can’t wait to score my first goal at Le Montpied in front of the fans.”
