Italian side Como made an attempt to sign Manchester United winger Antony, but the player himself expressed a desire to continue his career at Spanish club Betis, where he spent the second half of the 2024/25 season on loan.

The Brazilian is eager to extend his loan with the La Liga outfit until the summer of 2026, aiming to be in peak form ahead of the World Cup. This was reported by renowned insider Fabrizio Romano.

Manchester United are ready to part ways with Antony for a fee between €35 and €40 million, but Betis may face financial hurdles after missing out on the Champions League and currently cannot afford a permanent deal. The club is aware of Antony's wish, but negotiations with Man United have not yet begun.
