Chivas Eyes the Flores Siblings as Reinforcements for the Next Liga MX Season
Despite still competing in the Clausura 2025, Chivas has already turned its attention to the upcoming Apertura tournament, identifying the Flores siblings—Marcelo and Tatiana—as potential reinforcements, According to Fútbol Total, the Guadalajara-based club is eager to inject fresh talent into both its men's and women's squads, and the Flores duo fits the bill.
Marcelo Flores, a 20-year-old attacking midfielder with experience at Arsenal, Ipswich Town, and Real Oviedo, currently plays for Tigres but has not renewed his contract. He is reportedly open to joining Chivas on a free transfer, provided he is guaranteed significant playing time to revitalize his career.
Meanwhile, Tatiana Flores, also at Tigres, has struggled for minutes and could bolster Chivas Femenil’s attack, which currently relies heavily on Alicia Cervantes. Though no formal offer has been made for Tatiana, the Flores siblings are well-regarded by Chivas' management and are seen as a long-term investment as the club prepares a generational shift heading into the Apertura 2025.
