Chisora reached out to Joyce ahead of their bout

Derek Chisora shared his expectations ahead of his bout against fellow Briton Joe Joyce, scheduled for July 27.

Chisora told Boxing News 24/7 that Joyce has no idea what awaits him in the fight.

"Joe has no idea what’s going to happen. You might think I’m joking, but the only thing I’m concerned about is not being able to perform in front of a crowd. That’s my disappointment because I never worry about fights," stated Derek Chisora.

It has been reported that Joyce is confident he will defeat Chisora and has already discussed his plans for after the bout.

The 38-year-old Joyce suffered two losses to Zhang Zhilei last year but made a successful return to the ring in March with a victory over Kash Ali. The 40-year-old Chisora last fought in August, winning against Gerald Washington. This will be the veteran’s 48th professional bout.
