The contract details with the 35-year-old African tactician have not yet been disclosed, but after leaving his assistant manager role at Wydad, Badela is eager to return to coaching—this time as the main man in charge.

Badela is no stranger to Chippa United, having previously worked as an assistant coach under Rhulani Mokwena in 2020. Now, he could step up to take the helm himself as early as this week.
