The Chinese Grand Prix returns to the Formula 1 calendar for the first time since 2019. Five years ago, it was decided to cancel the stage due to the difficulties that the organizers had due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

China's return to the series of the main motor racing of the modern era will take place together with the sprint: it is at the Shanghai Autodrome that the first sprint weekend of the 2024 season will take place.

Recall that this will be the fifth grand prix of the current season. Max Verstappen has three wins so far, and Carlos Sainz Jr. has one more.
