The International Tennis Federation (ITF) has announced that, for the first time in history, the group stage matches of the Davis Cup final will take place in China.

From September 10th to 15th, matches of one of the groups will be held in the Chinese city of Zhuhai. Other groups will compete in Valencia, Bologna, and Manchester.

The final eight matches will take place from November 19th to 24th in the Spanish city of Malaga.

On Tuesday, March 19th, the draw for the Davis Cup final will be held. The current trophy holder, Italy, has qualified directly for the final stage. The same applies to last year's finalist, Australia. Spain and the United Kingdom have received wild cards.

In addition to these four teams, the qualifiers include the United States, Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, France, Germany, Slovakia, Finland, the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic.
