Chelsea to treat next transfer window as decisive. Who are they targeting?
Chelsea have already been active in the market in recent years, spending heavily, but that is not the end of it, and the upcoming window will be no exception.
Details: Insider Matt Law reports that Chelsea’s hierarchy view the next summer transfer window as a decisive one. The club are planning to strengthen all three lines: defence, midfield, and attack.
At the same time, Liam Rosenior’s position is not currently under threat. Chelsea’s management have no intention of dismissing the head coach, even if the team fail to qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
Chelsea are now on a run of four consecutive defeats. They lost 0–3 to Everton in the latest Premier League round and currently sit sixth in the table with 48 points after 31 matches.
Reminder: In recent weeks, there has been considerable speculation surrounding midfielder Enzo Fernández, but it now appears he is ready to remain at the club.
