Chelsea to sign Strasbourg defender Sarr for €15 million

Strasbourg has long been a satellite club for Chelsea, and one of their players is set to move to London soon.

Details: According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea will sign central defender Mamadou Sarr for €15 million.

Sarr will remain at Strasbourg on loan until the end of the season, before joining Chelsea's squad for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

Last summer, Strasbourg acquired Sarr from Lyon for €10 million. This season, he has made 14 appearances across all competitions.

Reminder: Earlier, Chelsea recalled center-back Trevoh Chalobah from his loan at Crystal Palace.
