Chelsea to benefit from Bayern midfielder's move to Premier League rival club
Bayern midfielder Jamal Musiala is attracting interest from top Premier League clubs on the back of good results, one of which could benefit if the 21-year-old German is bought by a rival club.
According to the Daily Mail, the midfielder, who moved to Munich from Chelsea in July 2019, has a clause in his contract that would see the Aristocrats receive 20 per cent of Musiala's next sale.
BILD adds that the 21-year-old is being watched by Liverpool and Manchester City, who could sign him in the summer. Chelsea have also been among the contenders for the midfielder's transfer, but Musiala's £87million asking price puts the player's return to the Blues' camp in doubt.
Given Chelsea's poor financial situation, the most favourable option for Todd Bowley and company would be any sale of Musiala, including to a Premier League rival club.
