Young forward David Datro Fofana is no longer part of Chelsea’s plans, prompting the club to seek a new destination for him after the transfer window closed. They have now found a solution.
Details: The Turkish Super Lig side Göztepe has officially announced the loan signing of Fofana. The agreement includes a clause allowing Chelsea to recall the player in January.
Last season, Fofana played on loan for Union Berlin and Burnley.
Reminder: Chelsea previously held talks regarding Fofana’s loan move to Greek club AEK, but the deal fell through.
In the winter of 2023, Fofana joined Chelsea from Molde for €12 million, but he has only made four appearances for the Blues.
