Chelsea shows interest in Feyenoord's Algerian winger Anis Hadj-Moussa
London club Chelsea has set its sights on Feyenoord and Algeria national team winger Anis Hadj-Moussa.
Details: According to FootMercato, Chelsea's management has already inquired about the 23-year-old player and is considering signing him as early as this winter.
Chelsea's interest has moved into practical terms: representatives of the London club have met with the player's agent Mohamed Dahmane, and Feyenoord is aware of the situation. Now, much will depend on the player's own position and the willingness of all parties to reach an agreement—it is quite possible that Hadj-Moussa could leave the Eredivisie this transfer window if a lucrative offer arrives.
Hadj-Moussa made a name for himself at the Africa Cup of Nations, where, despite Algeria's exit in the quarterfinals against Nigeria (0-2), he became a key figure for Vladimir Petkovic's side. The Algerian registered two assists during the tournament.
Notably, in this Eredivisie season before departing for the Africa Cup of Nations, the Algerian featured in 23 matches, scoring seven goals and providing three assists.
Reminder: Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer will miss the semi-final of the English League Cup against Arsenal.
