Chelsea ready to sell their star for £130 million. Real and PSG are the main contenders
London’s Chelsea could take drastic measures this summer in pursuit of a massive squad overhaul.
Details: According to Football Insider, the London club is ready to consider offers for their leader Cole Palmer if a bid in the region of £130 million lands on the board’s table.
At the moment, only two clubs in world football are seen as genuine contenders capable of pulling off such a blockbuster move: Real Madrid and French giants PSG.
Chelsea’s absence from the Champions League is forcing the Londoners into tough personnel decisions, and selling their 23-year-old star could be a way to generate the funds needed for a full-scale squad rebuild.
It’s worth noting that this season the English midfielder has featured in just 28 matches for the Blues, netting 10 goals and providing 3 assists. Transfermarkt currently values the player at €110 million.
Reminder: Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk is stepping up preparations for his return to the pitch.
