Chelsea triumphed over Newcastle at Stamford Bridge with a scoreline of 3-2 in the 28th round of the English Premier League.

In the sixth minute, Chelsea took the lead. Following a strike from Conor Gallagher, Mauricio Pochettino's forward, Nicholas Jackson, elegantly redirected the ball with a backheel just under the crossbar.

However, Newcastle managed to level the score before halftime. In the 43rd minute, Alexander Isak received the ball from Bruno Guimaraes and skillfully shot from outside the penalty area.

After the break, Chelsea's most prolific player this season, Cole Palmer, made his mark. The former Manchester City midfielder scored a splendid goal from 25 meters.

Mikhail Mudrik settled any lingering doubts five minutes after coming on as a substitute, spectacularly infiltrating the penalty area, outplaying the goalkeeper, and slotting the ball into the empty net.

Despite Jacob Murphy pulling one back in the 90th minute, Eddie Howe's team couldn't mount a comeback.

Despite the victory, Chelsea remains in 11th place in the Premier League, with one game in hand, while Newcastle occupies the tenth position.
