Chelsea on the verge of an unwanted historic record. What happened?

Chelsea travelled away to Brighton for their Matchday 34 Premier League clash, and in the process moved closer to an unwanted record.

Details: According to the BBC, Chelsea are currently on their longest run without a clean sheet since the 1996/97 season. The streak now stands at 12 matches, while nearly 30 years ago it reached 13 games.

Reminder: It has been confirmed that attacking midfielder Cole Palmer and forward Joao Pedro will miss Chelsea’s match against Brighton due to injuries.

This season, Palmer has made 28 appearances for Chelsea, scoring 10 goals and providing 3 assists.
