Left-back Ian Maatsen of Borussia Dortmund, whose rights are owned by Chelsea, is not interested in returning to the London club.

According to Sky Sports, the Dutch footballer is keen on staying at Dortmund for the next season. The German club also wants to keep Maatsen.

Currently, the clubs are discussing another loan deal for Maatsen, but this time with a buy option. However, Borussia Dortmund cannot afford to buy the player outright due to financial reasons.

Maatsen joined Borussia Dortmund from Chelsea on loan in the winter transfer window. In 13 matches for his new club, he scored 1 goal and provided 2 assists.

Last season, the 22-year-old Dutchman was on loan at Burnley.

It's worth noting that Borussia Dortmund also wants to keep Jadon Sancho in the team, whose rights are owned by Manchester United. The "Red Devils" are willing to offer a discount to Dortmund.
