Chelsea have reportedly entered the race to sign highly rated AIK winger Zadok Yohanna, adding further competition to an already heated transfer battle.

According to Sky Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg, Chelsea are now among the clubs tracking the 18-year-old, alongside Newcastle United and Brighton & Hove Albion.

Newcastle are currently believed to be in pole position financially, with their proposal understood to be the most advanced. However, Brighton remains actively engaged in talks and are still hopeful of reaching a verbal agreement with the player.

Yohanna, who joined AIK from Nigeria’s Ikon Allah Football Academy last year, has quickly emerged as one of the club’s standout young talents. The 18-year-old winger has impressed in his breakthrough campaign, registering five goals and four assists in just 12 appearances.
