Chelsea is prepared to sell one of their two left-backs

Chelsea is prepared to consider the sale of one of their two left-backs if a good transfer offer comes in.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the discussion involves Marc Cucurella or Ben Chilwell. The 25-year-old Cucurella has been performing well at Euro 2024, while the 27-year-old Chilwell is often injured, making it difficult for Chelsea to rely on him fully.
Cucurella joined the Blues in August 2022 from Brighton for €65.3 million. Chilwell transferred to Chelsea for €50.2 million from Leicester in August 2020.
This season, Cucurella has played 26 matches at the club level, scoring 1 goal and providing 2 assists. Chilwell has appeared in 21 matches, providing 1 assist.
We recently reported that with the arrival of a new coach, current Chelsea left-back Ben Chilwell might find himself out of the squad, and he could be sold this summer. Besides him, Trevoh Chalobah and Conor Gallagher, who are attracting interest from Tottenham and Aston Villa, might also leave Stamford Bridge.
