According to The Mirror, Aston Villa has offered Chelsea the chance to sign Emiliano Martinez for £45 million.
Details: While the Blues do have the financial capacity, the goalkeeper himself is not interested in the move. The source reports that Martinez is only open to a transfer to Manchester United.
Recall, the Red Devils are still searching for a new goalkeeper, as they remain unconvinced by their current No. 1, Andre Onana.
The 32-year-old Aston Villa keeper is under contract until June 2029. Last season, Martinez made 53 appearances, conceded 61 goals, and kept 16 clean sheets.
