Aston Villa are currently playing excellent football, and one of the team’s key figures is Morgan Rogers, who could leave the club as early as next summer.
Details: As reported by Fabrizio Romano, despite Rogers having recently signed a new contract with Aston Villa, a departure from the club remains possible. Several top clubs continue to maintain their interest in the player. Chelsea had him on their shortlist last summer, but the interest never progressed to a formal offer.
He will definitely not leave the club in January 2026, but once the summer window opens, anything could happen.
It is worth noting that Aston Villa secured a 2–1 victory over Manchester United in Premier League Round 17. The win was sealed by a brace from Morgan Rogers. He became the first Birmingham-based club player since 1998 to score at least two goals in consecutive matches.
Reminder: Aston Villa have won ten consecutive matches in the English Premier League, equalling an achievement set 111 years ago.
