Chelsea hosted Everton at Stamford Bridge in the 33rd round of the Premier League.

The aristocrats left no stone unturned against their hapless opponents, who have been constantly losing points by fines. The Pensioners settled the question of the match winner as early as the first half, scoring four unanswered goals past Jordan Pickford.

Chelsea's top scorer, Cole Palmer, netted a hat-trick, achieving several historic milestones in the process. Another precise strike came from Nicolas Jackson just before halftime.

The second half essentially turned into a formality. The Pensioners eased off the gas, and Everton couldn't even score a consolation goal. However, the Stamford Bridge faithful did witness two goals.

Chelsea earned the right to take a penalty, and after lengthy discussions, Palmer was entrusted with the responsibility. The Englishman converted it successfully to complete his "poker." And it was young Alfie Gilchrist who put the finishing touches to the visitors' battering.

Maurizio Pochettino's team collected 47 points but remained in ninth place in the Premier League standings. Everton sits in 16th place with 27 points.
