Chelsea head coach talks about the condition of two young players

Chelsea's head coach provided insights into the condition of midfielder Romeo Lavia and winger Mykhailo Mudryk.
During the press conference, Maurizio Pochettino mentioned that they are yet to assess the condition of both players. Their participation in the upcoming match is not guaranteed. It's worth recalling that Lavia came on as a substitute in the Crystal Palace match, marking his debut for the London club. He had been recovering from injuries during this entire period. Mykhailo Mudryk engaged in a battle with Nathaniel Clyne and was promptly replaced, this occurring in the 70th minute.
Chelsea has completed the transfer of 17-year-old Senegalese U-17 national team midfielder Papa Daouda Diagne. The player, predominantly positioned as a defensive midfielder, will join Chelsea's ranks in the summer. The club has yet to decide whether Diagne will play for the club's youth team or be loaned out.
Chelsea scouts took notice of Diagne during the U-17 World Cup in 2023, held last month in Indonesia. There, Diagne played a pivotal role for the Senegal national team, which defeated Argentina and Poland in the group stage but bowed out to France in the round of 16.
