Cole Palmer made the switch to Chelsea from Manchester City in September last year and has since established himself as one of the top performers for the London club. He has notched up 21 goals and provided thirteen assists during this time. Palmer has only missed three matches in the current Premier League season and has become an indispensable part of Mauricio Pochettino's team.

His performances have also caught the attention of England's national team manager Gareth Southgate, and he could receive a call-up to the national team for the European Championship.

However, Palmer's arrival has not been positive for everyone. Responding to journalists' questions about the newcomer taking the place of another regular starter, Noni Madueke, Pochettino stated that there will soon be room for both of them. His words, as reported by Sportbible, were as follows:

"Firstly, there will soon be a place for him [Madueke]. When the club signed Cole Palmer, he [Madueke] was also here at the club, and they were in the same position. It's all about adaptation and trying to find the dynamics in which he and Palmer can play together.

Hopefully, he will consistently feature in the starting lineup and showcase his qualities.

But it's always important to strike the right balance within the team."

It's worth noting that Madueke also joined Chelsea last year, but midway through the previous season when he made the switch from PSV to the London club.
