Chelsea continues to gather young talents from around the globe, signing them to long-term contracts.

According to The Athletic, the London club has agreed on the transfer of 19-year-old left-back Caleb Wiley from Atlanta United. The transfer fee will be 10 million euros, and the player will sign a contract until the summer of 2031.

However, Wiley will initially not play for Chelsea but will be loaned to Strasbourg, also owned by Todd Boehly.

Wiley is considered one of the biggest talents in MLS. This season, he has played 21 matches for Atlanta United, scoring 1 goal and providing 1 assist. Additionally, Wiley has 2 caps for the USA national team.

This summer, Wiley will be part of the USA Olympic team at the Paris Olympics.
