Chelsea confident of securing Benjamin Sesko transfer
Benjamin Sesko is having a prolific season with Leipzig, drawing the attention of top clubs. One of them is convinced they can land the Slovenian striker.
Details: According to Simon Johnson from The Athletic, Chelsea has been monitoring Sesko for several years. The Londoners first took note of the forward three years ago and have been closely following his progress ever since.
Chelsea's management is confident they have the financial muscle to complete the transfer in the summer.
Currently, Sesko is focused on finishing the season in the Bundesliga, where Leipzig is battling for a top-four spot. The 21-year-old Slovenian has already tallied 35 goals and 8 assists in 78 matches across all competitions for the German club.
Reminder: Chelsea will face Tottenham tomorrow in the 30th round of the EPL, and there’s good news for the Blues fans – Enzo Maresca has announced the return of three players from injury.
