Chelsea co-owner backs Rosenior despite poor run of results
Chelsea co-owner Behdad Eghbali has broken his silence regarding the future of head coach Liam Rosenior.
Details: With a prolonged run of disappointing results fueling speculation in the media about a possible sacking, the Blues' management has opted to publicly back their manager.
Eghbali emphasized that the club remains committed to its long-term project:
"We believe he has all the qualities needed to succeed here. Liam made a fantastic start to his tenure. Yes, the last five or six matches have been extremely tough, but I want to stress: we are fully behind Liam," he said.
At the same time, the club's co-owner acknowledged that football is a results-driven business but urged fans and pundits to be patient.
"Of course, results are vital, but we believe Rosenior can achieve long-term success," Eghbali concluded.
