Chelsea are getting rid of ballast. Blues' forward will strengthen the EPL newcomer
This summer, Chelsea are not only active in signing new players, but also streamlining its squad. In the coming days, Albanian forward Armando Broja is expected to leave the team, as he is not part of the coaching staff's plans.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Broja's new club will be Premier League newcomer Ipswich Town. He is set to join them on loan until the end of the season, with both clubs currently negotiating the buyout option.
In the second half of last season, Broja was on loan at Fulham, but he failed to score in eight appearances.
During his time at Chelsea, the Albanian striker has managed only three goals in 38 matches. He has also had loan spells at Southampton and Vitesse.
It’s worth noting that Ipswich began their season with a 0-2 loss to Liverpool.
