Chelsea and Manchester United are keen to get their hands on the Barcelona defender

For two English giants, namely Chelsea and Manchester United, the defensive line, and more specifically the position of left-back, is now a problem and the clubs want to close it in the summer. The first candidate is already known, for which two Premier League clubs will compete.

So, according to the Spanish portal Nacional, Chelsea and Manchester United have turned their attention to Barcelona's left-back Alejandro Balde. "Mancunians" are still only looking at the player, but the "pensioners" have already come out with an offer of 50 million euros.

However, the source believes that despite the attempts of London club boss Todd Boley to agree with his Barcelona counterpart Joan Laporta on the amount of the transfer, this money may not be enough and the Catalans will demand an additional 20 million euros for the player, bringing the total amount to 70 million.
