Cheikhou Kouyate could be set for a return to Anderlecht
The Belgian club is reported to have begun talks to sign the Senegalese defender, who has been without a club since leaving Amed SK in Turkey.
Cheikhou Kouyate could be set for a return to the club where he played from 2009 to 2014. The 36-year-old Senegalese player is appealing to his former team thanks to the experience he has gained over the years. The Belgian club is reportedly in talks with the player regarding his arrival.
However, according to Belgian media, RSC Anderlecht are looking to secure Kouyate’s services for their reserve team (RSCA Futures). The aim is for him to bring his experience to the U23 team in the Challenger Pro League. Since terminating his contract with Amed SK in the Turkish second division, Cheikhou Kouyaté has been without a club. This could motivate him to accept this offer.
