Champions League, Group B. Arsenal defeats Sevilla, Lens draws with PSV

In the third round of the Champions League, Sevilla hosted Arsenal at their home stadium, while Lens played against PSV.

Sevilla - Arsenal - 1:2

In an evenly matched first half, Arsenal surprisingly scored in the final seconds of the first half. Gabriel Martinelli found the back of the net. After the break, the "Gunners" doubled their lead. On the 53rd minute, Gabriel Jesus scored a goal. Sevilla quickly got back into the game, scoring just five minutes later.

However, despite the efforts of the home team, they couldn't at least level the score. Arsenal defeated the Spanish team with a score of 2:1. Arsenal takes the top spot in Group B with six points.

Lens - PSV

In the second match of this group, French side Lens hosted PSV. In the first half, Lens had a slight edge and was closer to scoring, but couldn't finish the job. PSV didn't have any goal attempts.

However, it was the Dutch team that scored first after the break. In the 54th minute, Joao Bakayoko put PSV ahead. Lens managed to level the score through Wahbi just 11 minutes later. The evenly contested match ended in a 1-1 draw. Lens currently holds the second place in the group with five points.
