The German champions Bayer Leverkusen have signed 27-year-old forward Martin Terrier from Rennes, as reported by insider Fabrizio Romano.
The deal is valued at €22 million, which will go to Rennes. Additionally, an agreement on personal terms has been reached, with Terrier committing to a long-term contract with the German club.
Contrary to earlier expectations, Bayer's forward Adam Hložek is not included in the deal.
Last season, the 27-year-old Terrier scored 9 goals and provided 4 assists in 35 matches across all competitions.
Previously, it was reported that a Borussia Dortmund legend might continue his career with the German champions.
