Challenges for Ziad Kamal: Former Enppi Star Struggles at Zamalek
Mohamed Ismail, the Director of Football at Enppi, has discussed the challenges faced by midfielder Ziad Kamal, who made the move from Enppi to Zamalek. Once a key player for Enppi, Kamal's form has declined since joining the white team, where he frequently finds himself on the sidelines, receiving limited playing time under coach José Gomes.
In a recent chat with OnTime Sports, Ismail highlighted the teasing Kamal endures from his Zamalek teammates as a major reason for his dwindling confidence. He stressed that Kamal is a skilled player, but the pressure he faces is holding him back. Additionally, the financial terms of his contract, which is said to be around 30 million Egyptian pounds, have added to his struggles.
Kamal's transfer to Zamalek was on a loan basis, with stipulations that could result in substantial payments to Enppi, depending on how well the player performs and Zamalek's achievements in local competitions.
