Cesc Fabregas secured his first victory in Serie A as the head coach of Como

In midweek, on September 24, a match in the fifth round of Serie A took place between Atalanta and Como, and it turned out to be a fantastic game for Cesc Fabregas's side.

Atalanta opened the scoring in the 18th minute and maintained their lead comfortably until the end of the first half. However, after the break, the "Bergamascs" faced incredibly challenging times.

In just 13 minutes of the second half, Como scored three goals, turning the match on its head. The visitors achieved the incredible feat of holding on to a comfortable victory, marking their first win of the Serie A season 2024/25.

In the final minutes, Atalanta converted a penalty, narrowing the score, but they couldn't manage a comeback.

For legendary Cesc Fabregas, this also marks his first triumph in Italy's top division. Currently, Como has accumulated five points after five matches and climbs to 16th place in the table.
