A viral animated short film by Iranian artist Hamid Sahari on the return of Barcelona and Arsenal to the Champions League quarter-finals has been making waves online.

In the storyline of this short film, Xavi, Mikel Arteta, Arsenal's mascot, Marc-André ter Stegen, and David Raya enter a room titled "Champions League Quarter-finals." They joyfully dance, but suddenly the lights go out, and they see Thomas Müller, who reminds them of all the crushing defeats against Bayern Munich.

Recall that Barcelona defeated Napoli in the round of 16 of the Champions League, reaching the quarter-finals for the first time since the 2019/20 season. Arsenal, on the other hand, hadn't made it to the top 8 in even longer. The Gunners hadn't reached the quarter-finals for a whopping 14 years. On Tuesday, Arteta's team eliminated Porto in a penalty shootout.

Barcelona and Arsenal will find out their quarter-final opponents tomorrow. The draw will take place in Nyon, Switzerland, starting at 12:00 Central European Time.
