Details: According to renowned journalist and insider Gastón Edul on his X social media page, Manchester United have identified 28-year-old Argentina international and Tottenham centre-back Cristian Romero as one of their top transfer targets this summer.

It's reported that "The Red Devils" head coach Michael Carrick sees Romero as the ideal candidate to bolster United’s defence thanks to his experience and skill.
Romero himself has recently stated that he is open to leaving Tottenham this summer.
During the 2025/26 season, Romero featured in 32 matches for Spurs, netting 6 goals and providing 4 assists. His current contract with Tottenham runs until 2029, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €45 million.
