Carlos Corberán appointed as new Valencia head coach

Valencia is struggling this season, prompting the club to make a managerial change.

Details: Today, Valencia officially announced Carlos Corberán as the team's new head coach. The club paid West Bromwich Albion €3 million for his release.

Corberán replaces Rubén Baraja, who was dismissed two days ago.

The Spaniard has signed a contract with Valencia until the summer of 2026.

After 17 matches, Valencia has collected only 12 points and sits in 19th place in La Liga.

Reminder: Corberán was previously linked with Leicester City following Steve Cooper’s departure, but the Foxes ultimately chose former Manchester United manager Ruud van Nistelrooy.
