Carlos Baleba could leave Brighton & Hove Albion this summer
The Seagulls are reportedly prepared to lower their asking price for the Cameroonian and let him go.
Carlos Baleba may not be staying at The AMEX next season. Under contract until 2028, the Cameroonian international is heading for the exit. Not only has his form dipped this season – having played 25 Premier League matches without scoring a goal or providing an assist – but his market value is also falling.
However, Brighton & Hove Albion are reportedly open to letting the player leave for less than their financial demands. Whilst they had asked for £100 million last summer for the Cameroonian, the Seagulls are now said to be willing to accept a lower figure. This is good news for Manchester United, who had already made enquiries about the player last summer. The Old Trafford club, in search of reinforcements for their midfield, have reportedly not given up on the idea of securing the services of Carlos Baleba.
