Carlos Alcaraz makes a sensational exit in the second round of the tournament in Cincinnati


ATP World No. 3 Carlos Alcaraz played in the second round of the Cincinnati tournament against Frenchman Gael Monfils.
The first set, quite predictably, went to the Spaniard. He managed to take a 1-0 lead in 32 minutes. The second set was an incredible struggle and lasted one hour. At 6-6, the set went into a tiebreaker, where Monfils proved to be the better man - 7-5.
In the deciding set, Alcaraz was the first to take the lead, but Gael managed not only to equalise but also to take the lead. Monfils made the score 4-2 and then calmly held on to his two-serve advantage to win 6-4.
Thus, Carlos Alcaraz sensationally loses in the second round of the tournament in Cincinnati with a score of 1-2.
