Throughout his entire coaching career, Davide Ancelotti has served as an assistant to his father, Carlo. But after 13 years working side by side, the 35-year-old coach has decided to strike out on his own—and his first club is already known.

Details: According to Fabrizio Romano and ge.globo, Davide has agreed to become the head coach of Brazilian side Botafogo. The Italian had previously been linked with Celtic, but ultimately that deal fell through. No further details about the potential contract have been revealed.

Reminder: In January 2012, the younger Ancelotti joined Paris Saint-Germain's coaching staff as a fitness coach. From that moment, he followed his father everywhere, gaining experience at Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Napoli, and Everton.

During his second stint at Real Madrid, there was much speculation that the 35-year-old specialist could embark on an independent career as a head coach.
