Carlo Ancelotti left Real Madrid to take charge of the Brazilian national team in the summer of 2025 and is now preparing the Seleção for the 2026 World Cup. His deal is set to be extended for several more years.

Details: According to Diario AS, the Italian manager is ready to continue working with Brazil. He will soon sign a five-year extension, keeping him in the job until 2030. He will also remain the highest-paid national team coach in the world.

Brazil will head to the 2026 World Cup, where they are drawn in Group C alongside Morocco, Haiti and Scotland.

Ancelotti took over the national team in May of this year and has already overseen eight matches as head coach, recording four wins, two draws and two defeats.

Reminder: Brazil’s head coach recently admitted he closely follows the English Premier League due to the large number of Brazilian players competing there, and he named the team he considers the strongest at the moment.
