Career black page. Al-Hilal set to terminate Neymar's contract
Saudi Arabian champions Al-Hilal appear to have lost faith in their star forward Neymar, and the club is reportedly prepared to take drastic measures.
Details: According to UOL Esporte, Neymar could leave Al-Hilal as early as January, with the club potentially releasing him without receiving any transfer fee.
Al-Hilal is seriously considering terminating Neymar’s contract prematurely. The former PSG and Barcelona forward has barely played due to injuries, sustaining yet another setback in a recent match against Esteghlal.
There have also been reports that Neymar’s former club, Santos, is highly interested in bringing him back, especially as they are close to earning promotion from Serie B to Serie A in Brazil.
Reminder: Neymar has been sidelined after suffering an ACL tear in his knee during a 2026 World Cup qualifying match against Uruguay.
