Capello points out Thiago Motta's first major mistake at Juventus

Experienced Italian coach Fabio Capello has pointed out the first major mistake made by Thiago Motta during his tenure at Juventus.

According to Capello, the coach should not have allowed Federico Chiesa and Danilo to leave the club.

Quote: "The first question I ask myself is this: who decided to let Federico Chiesa go without much fuss, and then Danilo?

Was this solely the coach's decision, or was the club involved? If it was entirely Motta's choice, then his responsibility is even greater, because these were two key players, including in terms of leadership. For me, the first mistake was made right there, in the transfer market decisions," Capello wrote in his column for Gazzetta dello Sport.
