Cameroon's women's team will play a friendly match against Nigeria

This is part of the Indomitable Lionesses' preparations for the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

This friendly match will be played as a doubleheader in Cameroon on 28 February and 3 March 2026 in Yaoundé. The match will allow the Indomitable Lionesses to fine-tune their strategy before the final list of players selected for the African Women's Cup of Nations, scheduled for 17 March to 3 April, is released. In Group D of the continental tournament, Cameroon will face Ghana, Mali and Cape Verde.

In the meantime, however, the Cameroon women's team is continuing the training camp it began a few days ago. All 25 players called up have reported for duty in Yaoundé and are undergoing a series of training sessions. This is the first gathering of the Indomitable Lionesses for the 2026 African Women's Cup of Nations.
