Cameroon's U17 team wins the UNIFFAC tournament

The U17 Lions have qualified for the Africa Cup of Nations, as have the DRC U17s, whom they defeated.

The two teams faced off this 27 February at the Tata Raphaël Stadium in the final of this Central African zone tournament, which serves as a qualifier for the continental competition. Already qualified before their match on Friday, the U17 Lions and U17 Leopards battled it out for first place.

But it was the young Cameroonians who came out on top. The Cameroonian U17 team won 2-0 thanks to goals from Rony Baliag Nougi and Arnold Massekon. With this latest victory, the U17 Lions finish the UNIFFAC tournament in first place with three wins.
