Cameroon's Elite One 2025-26 season resumes on 24 January 2026
The kick-off will take place at the Bafang Municipal Stadium
The Cameroonian championship is set to resume. After a break since the end of last season, which saw Colombe du Dja and Lobo crowned champions, it will kick off on 24 January 2026.
The kick-off will be a regional derby between Unisport de Bafang and Aigle Royal de la Menoua at the municipal stadium in Bafang. The competition will feature 14 clubs this season in a single pool. The teams will play a total of 26 match days, i.e. 13 first-leg matches and 13 second-leg matches.
With this new format, the club ranked 14th at the end of the regular season will be directly relegated to MTN Elite Two. The 13th-ranked club will compete in a play-off with the team ranked 2nd in MTN Elite Two.
