Cameroonian Striker Vincent Aboubakar Set to Join Kocaelispor from Hatayspor

The current leaders of Turkey's second division, Kocaelispor, are rumored to be interested in signing Cameroonian international Vincent Aboubakar. Both parties are reportedly close to reaching a deal, and the transfer is anticipated to be completed shortly, according to Turkish media.

Aboubakar, who left Beşiktaş to accept a one-year contract with Hatayspor, has had a respectable season in spite of his team's difficulties. In eighteen league games, he has six goals and two assists. The striker's departure is more plausible because Hatayspor is currently fighting relegation and is ranked 18th in the Süper Lig table.

The 33-year-old is a crucial addition for Kocaelispor, who are hoping to make up to the top division for the first time since 2009. Aboubakar may return to the Süper Lig right away if the team wins promotion.
