Cameroonian striker Vincent Aboubakar makes a fresh start in Turkey

The Indomitable Lion is set to take on a new challenge in the Turkish second division.

Having been a free agent since his most recent spell at PFK Neftchi in Azerbaijan, Vincent Aboubakar is set to continue his career in a new league. The 2017 African champion has signed a one-year contract with an option for a further year with Bodrum FK.

He will bring his experience to Bodrum FK, who can count on a striker accustomed to playing at the highest level. Throughout his career, Vincent Aboubakar has played for several clubs in Europe and the Gulf.

Notably, he has had spells in Ligue 1, the Primeira Liga, the Super Lig, the Saudi Pro League and, more recently, the Azerbaijan Premier League. His arrival at Bodrum FK therefore represents a significant boost for the Turkish second-tier club.
