Cameroonian striker Nathan Ngoumou joins Nice
The Cameroonian international returns to the French top flight four years after leaving.
Nathan Ngoumou will continue his professional career in France. The versatile Cameroonian striker has signed for Nice.
His transfer was made official on Monday 17 August. Nathan Ngoumou is returning to France from Borussia Mönchengladbach. The Cameroonian hopes to relaunch his career at the French club after his 2025–2026 season was disrupted by an Achilles tendon injury.
Upon signing his contract, Nathan Ngoumou made no secret of his enthusiasm.
“I’m incredibly motivated by the challenge that OGC Nice represents. I’ve recovered from my injury, I feel fit and ready to make a contribution to the team straight away. The more matches I play, the better I’ll perform.
My discussions with the club’s management and the coach have been very positive. I feel that everyone has faith in me. That played a big part in my decision. I can’t wait for the season to kick off. I’m sure we’re going to achieve great things!”
