The Belgian club officially announced the player’s contract extension on Thursday 22 October.

Having arrived at Genk in the summer of 2025, Aaron Bibout has impressed the club’s management. The Pro League club is now committing to him for the long term, offering him a contract until 2030, with an optional extra year.

On his arrival in Belgium, the Cameroonian initially joined Genk’s reserve team. He impressed there by scoring 10 goals in 16 matches, a performance that earned him a place in the first team.

He then joined the first team, for whom he scored 6 goals in 21 Pro League appearances last season. After extending his contract, the striker has promised to repay that trust with goals.

“I’m pleased with the progress I’ve already made here. I know I can do even better. I want to repay the trust the club has placed in me with goals,” said Aaron Bibout.
